Signal Box Fund

One aspect of the railway that is not currently replicated at the North Tyneside Steam Railway is signalling. Over the years we have acquired a complete lever frame, however, unfortunately - we cannot put any of this equipment to good use yet as we do not have a signal box in which to install it. The Association is raising funds to have a proper authentic signal box constructed at Middle Engine Lane to allow us to replicate British Railways signalling and create more volunteering opportunities.
